Stacy King graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Society with a minor in Women's Studies in 1998. She then attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, Ca. and graduated in 2001, cum laude.
After law school, Ms. King became an associate at the medical malpractice firm of Barry & Harris. She then accepted a position with Darling, Robertson & Lee. In June 2003, Ms. King accepted an associate's position at a plaintiff’s oriented firm where she worked for over 6 years. She represented persons who were harmed in various types of accidents such as those occurring in a vehicle, airplane and fire. While there, she co-chaired Harris, et al v. San Diego Gas & Electric, obtaining the 8th largest jury verdict in the country for 2008. In December 2009, she and another attorney founded King & Lemley, LLP where she continued to represent plaintiffs in medical malpractice and other personal injury cases. Ms. King then joined the law firm Golub & Associates where she represented plaintiffs in medical malpractice and construction defect litigation. In July 2015, Ms. King joined Quade & Associates. She practices in the areas of personal injury, insurance bad faith and family law.
